After many years of operating a forever expanding Boning Room and sourcing its beef carcases from other companies, Avon Valley Beef purchased an existing beef abattoir in 2001. As a result, this purchase allowed the company to maintain total control over the products being obtained and processed throughout the company. This has also allowed Avon Valley Beef to able to consistently and continually supply a high quality product to its clients.
The Abattoir is located 10 km’s outside of Northam and is licensed for domestic production.
The Avon Valley Beef Abattoir incorporates a rigorous Quality Assurance Program in the daily running where all carcases processed undergo quality control checks. Highly qualified and experienced staff work tirelessly to ensure that the beef carcases are processed to a high standard.
